Tina McCard~Personal Chef/Caterer/Event Coordinator

Tina McCard is a South Carolina native and self-taught chef. She began her culinary career working with French and Italian-influenced chefs, but her curious palate and desire to experiment with exotic flavors left her wanting more. A move to Ashville gave Tina the opportunity to try diverse food genres and experiment in her own kitchen. While working for a Fine Arts School, Tina was asked to cater monthly gallery openings and built a client base of art gallery openings, private parties and weddings. She decided to move to Charleston and continue her cooking career. Tina attended The Tall Ships Festival and was given a tour of The Spirit Of South Carolina. Once she stepped into the galley, Tina had a life-changing experience. She knew it was her destiny to work on a boat. A month later, she moved to Boston and worked on The Spirit of Massachusetts. After returning to Charleston, Tina accepted the chef role on The Blue Moon, and is an Event Coordinator/Caterer in her spare time.
